The Ingredients

  1. 500 gms Fish (Mackerel Fish)
  2. 3 tsp Tomato Paste or Tomato sauce (according to your taste)
  3. 1 tsp salt (according to your taste)
  4. ½ tablespoon Turmeric powder
  5. ½ tablespoons Red Chilli Powder
  6. 1 tablespoon Cumin powder
  7. 1 tablespoon Garam Masala
  8. 1 tablespoon Coriander powder
  9. 2 tablespoons Ginger garlic paste – (according to your taste).
  10. ½ tablespoon black pepper (according to your taste)
  11. 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil.
  12. Green Coriander – (A little) Fresh cilantro washed, rinsed & finely chopped

Variation: Got no time, or no fresh coriander leaves? "Cilantro” is the Spanish name for coriander leaves. Use a 6 ounce jar of prepared coriander instead.

Method

    Wash Mackerel Fish:
  1. Clean, wash and pat dry the fish pieces.
  2. Please Note: If you keep too much water. The fish will be too soft. You want that tender.

    Marinate Fish:
  3. Take Saucepan, add Tomato paste or Tomato sauce, Turmeric, Red chilli powder, Salt, Cumin powder, Garam masala, Olive oil, Giner Garlic and mix well.
  4. Set aside for 10 mins.
  5. Add Fish:

    One Small Catch: I am repeating the ingredients quantity again with the preparation for you to cook with ease.

    Note:
  6. Don’t cover the lid totally. Note: (if you close the lid the dish will be watery).
  7. You need tender and tasty Fish Curry.
  8. Mix in between.
  9. Cook for:
  10. Put the Saucepan in a low medium heat with cover and cook on low heat for 10 mins.
  11. Remove lid and flip the fish pieces and give a good gentle mix.
  12. Cover & cook for another 10 mins on low heat till oil separates
  13. You see the oil on top. If you are in doubt check the fish pieces cooked or not?
  14. Add Pepper:

    Tip:Please Note: This is the Main Ingredient

  15. Add 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder.
  16. Mix the Fish curry again.
  17. Wow. Fish Curry Recipe (Mackerel Fish) ready for you to eat.
  18. Enjoy!
  19. Add Cilantro:
  20. Garnish with the chopped coriander leaves, mix and simmer for a minute..
  21. Serve with rice or bread.
